Wednesday, July 2nd, 7:00 PM Under-40 Social
Crystal City Sports Pub, 529 S 23rd Street, Arlington, VA
Stop by the Crystal City Sports pub after work, meet a couple of the Jaycees, and have a glass or two of your favorite beverage, or even a meal if you're hungry. Friday, July 4th, 4:45 PM July 4th Cookout and Glow Necklace Sale
Rich Gold's House, 7309 Ivycrest Place, Annandale, VA
On July 4th, we'll meet at Jaycee Alumnus Rich Gold's house for a good old-fashioned Independence Day cookout with all the fixin's. After the cookout, we'll head to the Iwo Jima memorial to sell glow necklaces and other interesting light-emitting objects to raise money for our other projects. Friday, July 4th - Saturday, July 5th, Civitan Garage Sale
Quincy Street Parking Garage (behind Washington & Lee HS), Arlington, VA
We'll be assisting the Arlington Civitan club in their monthly garage sale by helping out at their food booth and "other duties as assigned." Hours worked by chapter representatives will be rewarded with donations to Camp Virginia Jaycee and other Arlington Jaycee charitable efforts. Saturday, July 12th, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Alexandria Birthday Celebration
Oronoco Bay Park
Celebrate America’s Independence Day along with the founding of the City of Alexandria. The highlights of the Birthday Celebration are live entertainment, arts and crafts, games for the kids, and an excellent fireworks display. Our sister chapter, the Alexandria Jaycees, will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, sodas, and chips, so it'll be a great opportunity for a visitation.
Sunday, July 13th, Explore Shirlington
If you haven't been to Shirlington Village in the past year or two, you're in for a big surprise. There's a new library, a new theater, a bunch of new restaurants, and, by the way, a whole new street. We're going to take a tour of area and check out some of the new businesses that have moved into the area recently. For more information, please contact Leandra Finder.

NRECA Building, 4301 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA
Join us at our monthly "Pizza Feast" and find out about how you can get involved with the greatest organization of young adults in Arlington County. Also, we are still collecting paper bags, plastic bags, and cereal for AFAC, so please bring any of these items to the meeting. 2708 S. Nelson Street, Arlington, VA
Help us fight hunger in Arlington County by distributing groceries to needy families in our community. AFAC is located in Shirlington, just off of Four Mile Run Drive near I-395. No special skills are required. For more information, please contact Larissa Carrington.

At our monthly board meetings, our chapter officers schedule upcoming events, make sure that current projects are on track, and approve future projects proposed by chapter members.
